Promoting Conservation and Wise Use of Natural Resources
Wheat Week™
Wheat Week is a FREE series of five lessons, delivered over the course of one week, educating students grades 4 through 7 about water, soil, wheat, salmon, dams and energy and how they impact our lives. Any school can request Wheat Week. Teachers are asked to plan together so each day 3-4 classrooms (grades 4th - 7th) can receive the daily one-hour lesson. All Wheat Week lessons are aligned with the Grade Level Expectations in science. Each lesson takes approximately one hour each day.
Wheat Week: Year 1
(New) Wheat Week: Year 2
(only those classrooms who have received Wheat Week Year 1 can request Wheat Week Year 2)
Wheat Week is available to any school in eastern Washington. Please contact the Wheat Week Educator nearest you to schedule an exciting week of learning, a week of fun...a Wheat Week.
